Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch Launches His Label XOVR Records

Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, alongside his longtime manager David W. Williams, has launched a new record label, XOVR Records. The label, pronounced “Crossover Records,” announced its first signing with the Christian alt-metal veterans Spoken, featuring JR Bareis, Welch’s bandmate in the side project Love and Death.

Brian “Head” Welch expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, “It is a complete pleasure to work together with my long time friend and solo manager David Williams to start XOVR. I am equally excited to work on our first release with Spoken, featuring our brother JR from Love and Death.”

The label is set to debut with Spoken‘s 10th studio album, Reflection, scheduled for release on March 15th, 2024, and confirmed Nashville rockers Dose of Adolescence have also signed. Welch praised Spoken for their dedication and hard work, commenting, “Led by our bro Matt Baird, Spoken has been one of the hardest working bands in rock ‘n’ roll. They have an incredible reputation for grinding it out because they love what they do so much. I can’t wait for everyone to hear Spoken’s latest release, it is truly an epic album! Follow us to keep up to date about future projects we’ll be releasing through XOVR, including the band Dose of Adolescence, coming in 2024!”

In celebration of the new label, Welch and Spoken have released the music video for album title track “Reflection.”
