Big Ears Festival 2024 Announces Daily Lineups
The Big Ears Festival has announced its daily lineups for the 2024 event set for March 21st-24th in downtown Knoxville. Starting December 5th, fans can purchase single-day passes, providing a more accessible option to experience the festival’s diverse offerings. Full 4-day weekend passes have been available since September, with VIP and Premier options already sold out.
Ashley Capps, the Founder/Director of Big Ears Festival, expressed excitement about the 2024 event, noting the “unprecedented response” from music enthusiasts. “Each year builds on the past festival, and this year is no exception,” Capps stated, emphasizing the festival’s commitment to offering a range of ticket options.
The festival has recently added new artists to its 2024 roster, including the renowned Kronos Quartet and the bluegrass supergroup Mighty Poplar. The lineup features multiple Grammy-nominated artists such as Jon Batiste, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Rhiannon Giddens, Julian Lage, Aja Monet, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, and Third Coast Percussion.
Adding to the festival’s allure, Netflix is streaming “American Symphony,” a documentary featuring Jon Batiste’s artistic journey amid personal challenges. Moreover, Big Ears Festival itself has been nominated for Music Festival of the Year (under 30k) by Pollstar, a leading music industry publication.
