Kacy Hill Returns With New Folk-Pop Single “No One”
Kacy Hill, the Arizona-born and now Los Angeles-based musician, is back with her latest single “No One,” marking her first release in over two years. Released via Nettwerk, the single is a collaborative production with Bartees Strange and Aidan Spiro, known for their work with acts like Arlo Parks and Wet.
“No One” introduces listeners to Kacy Hill‘s exquisitely refined folk-pop sound, enriched with delicate harmonies and gentle ambiance. The song weaves together soft drum snares and floating woodwinds, paying tribute to her Americana roots while signaling the beginning of a new chapter in her career.
The track embodies a poignant message about the complexities of human desires and contentment. Hill describes the inspiration behind the song, “’No One’ is about feeling perfectly content but still fighting the itch to disappear into a new life. Over the past year, I’ve gotten in the habit of going outside first thing each morning and sitting by my garden. I feel most present in those moments, and yet still find myself spinning worst-case scenarios, trying to find a way out of a life I don’t actually want out of.”
