Cloud Nothings Drop “Final Summer” To Celebrate Pure Noise Signing

Indie rock outfit Cloud Nothings has released their latest single “Final Summer” to mark their recent signing with Pure Noise Records.

Dylan Baldi, Cloud Nothings‘ guitarist and vocalist, delves into themes of identity and self-evolution in new single, “Final Summer.” The chorus captures Baldi’s introspection with lines like, “I have some thoughts, I have some dreams… But I need to be happy with what I’ve got for me.”

Discussing the track, Baldi said the song touches upon “reconciling past versions of myself with the self I see when I look in the mirror every morning.” He went on to reflect on the band’s journey, emphasizing that the essence of “Final Summer” has been instrumental in helping them navigate through the challenges over their 14-year career.

The band’s collaboration with Pure Noise Records seems promising, with Baldi expressing his eagerness about this new chapter. “It’s exciting to be on a label with so many great punk bands… and it’s going to be inspiring to see our music standing alongside the myriad sick records that Pure Noise has released,” he remarked.
