Amid her North American tour, Atlanta’s dream pop sensation Bathe Alone, also known as Bailey Crone, has unveiled her latest single, “Archive 81.” The track is a poignant reflection on the aftermath of her recent divorce.

“Archive 81” echoes Bathe Alone‘s inner turmoil during a significant life transition. “I wrote this song right after getting divorced, and I really didn’t know what was happening in my life,” Bailey Crone shares candidly. She found solace in the normalcy of finishing a TV show, a poignant reminder of the comfort found in everyday routines amidst life’s upheavals.

This latest track joins “Gemini” in Crone’s growing catalog, following her double EP release, Fall With The Lights Down, which features both the Velma & Louise EPs, released on August 4th via Nettwek. The EPs have garnered critical acclaim, resonating with listeners through their nostalgic and longing tones, each part a homage to Crone’s great-grandmothers, whom she never met.

Behind the moniker Bathe Alone, Crone’s expertise as a multi-instrumentalist shines, with a history rooted in classical training that transitioned into the indie scene of Georgia. As a drummer for Girlpuppy and her current full band live performances, her music embodies a blend of punk and ambient guitar sounds.

Bathe Alone has already shared the stage with notable acts such as Jadu Heart, Beabadoobee, and Neighbor Lady. With each performance, Crone continues to captivate audiences, as evident in her current North American tour alongside Vacations and Last Dinosaurs.
