TORRES Announces New Album And 2024 Tour Dates; Shares New Single “Collect”

Fresh off the buzz from her 2021 album, Thirstier, New York’s Mackenzie Scott, known musically as TORRES, is set to release her next anticipated album, What an enormous room, on January 26, 2024, via Merge.

With this announcement, the singer-songwriter has also released the album’s lead single, “Collect”, accompanied by its official video. The song confronts with lyrics like “I know what you expect // You expect to be first // You claim what you didn’t earn // Is that what you deserve?”. Delving into the song’s core, Scott remarks, “This song is about justice being served. The rage song I’ve been trying to write for years!”
