Sufjan Stevens Shares “A Running Start” Ahead of “Javelin” Album Release
Esteemed singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens is all set to release his much-anticipated album, Javelin, this Friday (October 6th, 2023) on Asthmatic Kitty. To further stoke the flames of excitement, Stevens shares his final pre-release single, “A Running Start.”
Following on from the release of his acclaimed singles “So You Are Tired” and the freshly unveiled “Will Anybody Ever Love Me?”, “A Running Start” showcases an intricate tapestry of sounds and the track serves as a vibrant introduction to upcoming album. While Stevens masterfully played each instrument on the track, he was joined vocally by Hannah Cohen, Megan Lui, and Nedelle Torrisi.
