Madi Diaz Announces “Weird Faith” Album; Joining My Morning Jacket Tour

Nashville-based artist, Madi Diaz, has announced her new album, Weird Faith, is set to be released on February 9th, 2024, via ANTI-. In addition to the album announcement, Diaz has shared her new lead single, “Same Risk”.

Having been in the music scene since the late-2000s, Madi Diaz‘s profile only rose dramatically with the release of her album, History Of A Feeling, which Rolling Stone hailed as “one of 2021’s best kept secrets.” Her rise in popularity was only amplified when Harry Styles handpicked Diaz to open for his North American shows as well as joining him on stage in Europe and the UK.

The forthcoming Weird Faith delves deep into the nuances of new relationships. As Diaz puts it, “This record is about the beginning of love, and saying every feeling out loud, when I feel it, for better or worse because I can’t help it.” The album is not just about romantic experiences but is also a reflective self-portrait of Diaz, encapsulating a specific yet fleeting moment in her life. One of the standout tracks, “Don’t Do Me Good,” showcases a duet with the renowned Kacey Musgraves.

Diaz has shared the captivating “Same Risk” music video, which was co-directed by Diaz and Elizabeth Olmstead (Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs).
