If Not For Me Unleash Explosive New Single “Blameless”

Harrisburg, PA’s metalcore maestros, If Not For Me, released their fierce new track “Blameless” on September 29th, 2023, via InVogue Records. This marks the band’s third release with InVogue and follows their highly acclaimed tracks, “Feel Me Now” and “Demons.”

“Blameless” showcases the band’s unparalleled ability to intertwine their ferocious sound with smooth, harmonious melodies, particularly in the clean vocals of the chorus. The relentless screams throughout the track explore themes of accountability, “Don’t blame somebody else, you did this to yourself.” and are poised to resonate profoundly with fans and new listeners alike.

“Blameless is about people refusing to take accountability for their actions,” reveals Patty Glover, the band’s lead vocalist. He delves into the impact such behavior has on relationships, highlighting the strain and ultimate breaking point it causes in the partners dealing with the fallout. “‘Blameless’ is written specifically in context of a relationship where one partner is subjected to dealing with the fallout of this behavior and pushed beyond their breaking point,” explains Glover.

The band has seen monumental growth recently, most notably with their album, Eulogy, which stormed the Billboard charts, earning positions in “Top Current Hard Rock Albums,” “Top New Artist Albums,” and “Top Current Independent Albums.” Eulogy has been praised for its impeccable musicianship, emotionally charged lyrics, and boundless energy, symbolizing a new echelon of maturity in If Not For Me’s songwriting, whilst maintaining their intrinsic, untamed passion.

Teaming up with producers Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, Texas In July) and Grant McFarland (From Ashes To New, Like Moths to Flames) of Atrium Audio, the band has achieved a transformative sound in their LP, Eulogy, blending aggressive vocals, catchy choruses, and technical riffs, reaching new artistic heights. The signing with InVogue Records in June 2023 and the release of “Demons” marked a significant milestone in their musical journey, unveiling their refined artistic prowess.
