The Rolling Stones Release “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” Starring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder

The Rolling Stones have released a soul-stirring new single, “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven,” featuring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder. This gospel-infused track has invoked reminiscences of the band’s timeless hits including “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and “Shine A Light.”

In a discussion with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Mick Jagger revealed the raw and authentic creation of the song, stating, “It’s all played live… Yeah, there’s that moment, especially in that session where we had Stevie, and you’re feeling your way out a little bit and then you do that soul ending…” Jagger highlighted the live essence of the song, emphasizing the organic integration of each artist’s unique flair.

Speaking about working with Lady Gaga, Jagger commended her dynamic singing style. “She’s a really great singer and I’d never heard her sing quite that style before… We did it live in the room and that was a great experience,” shared the Stones‘ frontman, noting the evolution and confidence in Gaga’s performance throughout the session.
