New Order Announce Los Angeles Headline Show

New Order Announce Los Angeles Headline Show

New Order has announced a special performance in Los Angeles at the YouTube Theater on November 15th, 2023, with Blossoms slated to support. This concert serves as a precursor to their upcoming performance at Darker Waves Festival on November 18th, 2023, where they shall co-headline with Tears for Fears.

Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available for the public starting from September 29th. Fans eager to witness the legendary band perform live can access tickets here.

The announcement follows New Order‘s successful North American tour last spring, which included launching the Manchester-based festival, Beyond The Music, at the Moody Theatre during SXSW in Austin, Texas. The band, a reincarnation of Joy Division, has remained a formidable influence in the music industry, overcoming early tragedy to release acclaimed albums and singles.

The band has recently announced a reissue of their acclaimed album, Substance 1987, on vinyl, allowing fans to relive the magic of their groundbreaking sound. From their debut album, Movement (1981), to their critically acclaimed tenth studio album, Music Complete in 2015, New Order has shaped musical trends by blending post-punk with New York’s club scene influences.

New Order, featuring Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gilbert, Phil Cunningham, and Tom Chapman (who replaced original member Peter Hook in 2011), continue to reach new heights, with their legacy including albums like Power, Corruption & Lies (1983) and hits like “Blue Monday,” the best-selling 12-inch single of all time.
