Matt Maltese Shares New Single And Announces World Tour Dates

Acclaimed London-based artist, Matt Maltese, has released his soulful new single, “The Earth is a Very Small Dot,” and announced an extensive run of UK, EU, & US tour dates for early next year.

Maltese, revered for his reflective and introspective lyrics, opened up about his latest single, stating, “I guess it’s an age-old wisdom that perspective is everything when worrying about your own life. But it’s been something I’ve come back to time and time again. That the world is a small speck, and we’re even smaller specks on it. And remembering this can sometimes help me contextualize fears and worries and be much calmer because of it. Side note – at other times, it can be completely terrifying that our size is so physically meaningless when faced against the behemoth that is the universe. But this song was me on a good day.” This sense of universal smallness and fleeting worries is a theme Matt deftly explores, offering a calming perspective to listeners.

Matt Maltese, who has impressively amassed half a billion streams across all platforms, released his fourth album, Driving Just To Drive, via Nettwerk earlier this year, receiving critical acclaim. The success was marked by global tours including headline shows in Taipei, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, and Seoul, along with memorable appearances at prominent U.S. festivals.

His reach and influence are far-reaching, with global superstars like Doja Cat and BTS’ Kim Taehyung among his firm fans. The profound impact of his music is evident with Frank Ocean featuring Maltese‘s single “Rom-Com Gone Wrong” on his Blonded Radio, further solidifying Maltese’s position in the contemporary music scene.

To wrap up this year, Maltese will perform at Austin City Limits this October. The forthcoming tour is a chance for both new and existing fans to experience his heartfelt and thoughtful music live, across various cities in the UK, EU, and the US, from February to April 2024, including destinations like New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Montreal, and more.
