Catch Your Breath Drop New Single “Mirror” Featuring Ekoh

Four-piece hard rock band Catch Your Breath has shared their new track “Mirror,” featuring Ekoh, out now (September 22nd, 2023) via Thriller Records. The track is another teaser to their highly anticipated debut album, Shame On Me, slated for release on October 20th, 2023.

“Mirror” showcases the band’s innovative musical approach. The track is a thrilling adventure, blending addictive hooks and clean vocals, harmoniously intertwined with Ekoh‘s distinctive rap. Talking about the single, Catch Your Breath vocalist Josh Mowery stated, “”Mirror” is a song about times in your life, you think you have everything figured for yourself, and then with one fell swoop something goes wrong and you feel recognize you’ve been lying to yourself the entire time…always hoping for the positive outcome you wished so badly to obtain, just to end up hating yourself because deep down you knew it wasn’t ever really going to happen in the first place.”

The upcoming album, Shame On Me, will feature previously released singles including “No Evil,” “Savages,” and “21 Gun Salute,” along with the critically acclaimed “Dial Tone” and the title track “Shame On Me.”

According to Mowery, Shame On Me is a musical journey depicting his transition into early adulthood, with each song representing a significant chapter or character from his life. Mowery explains, “‘Shame On Me’ is an accumulation of songs written about my past. My journey to my early adulthood. Every song is attached to a significant point in my life, or someone in my life at one point or another. Hopefully these songs reach people, and help them heal, much like music did for me growing up.”
