Burna Boy Announces North American “I Told Them… Tour”

Nigerian musical sensation, Burna Boy, follows up his trailblazing performances and the successful release of his album, I Told Them… with the announcement of his North American “I Told Them… Tour”, produced by Live Nation. The announcement comes swiftly after the release of his music video for “City Boys.”

The 16-city tour is set to commence on November 3rd, 2023, at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, marking Burna Boy’s first stadium performance in the city. The tour will witness the GRAMMY® Award-winning artist travel across North America with performances in Houston, Chicago, Toronto, among other cities, and concluding in Atlanta at State Farm Arena on March 9th, 2024.

Burna Boy has been captivating audiences with his groundbreaking performances, including being the first Nigerian artist to headline a U.S stadium, where he performed to a colossal crowd of over 40,000 at a sold-out show at Citi Field in New York City this past July. The historic event attracted numerous celebrities, including Busta Rhymes, SZA, NBA star Mo Bamba, NFL Star Larry Ogunjobi, and British rapper Dave, who joined him on stage for a live rendition of their hit song “Location”.

His latest album, I Told Them…, has dominated Apple Music charts with #1 in 55 countries and earned him his third appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 with the summer anthem “Talibans II” with Byron Messia.

Burna Boy‘s hit single “Sittin On Top Of The World” featuring 21 Savage has clinched the #1 spot on Rhythmic radio. Moreover, Burna Boy has secured an impressive seven nominations at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards, including nods for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Best Live Performer, and Song of the Year.
