Matt Costa & Cayucas Announce Joint North American Tour

Indie maestro Matt Costa and surf-rock ensemble Cayucas have announced a co-headlining tour, kickstarting in Brooklyn, NY, on October 9, 2023, and concluding in Seattle, WA, on December 16th.

Cayucas is riding high on the anticipation surrounding their upcoming LP, Hangin’ On The Westside, which is set for release on August 25th via Oregon Bike Trails/OneRPM. With catchy singles like “Waffles,” and “Topo Ride the Wave” – the latter featuring a visually enticing music video in collaboration with Topo Chico – the album promises a splash of sun-soaked rhythms and catchy surf-rock beats.

On the other side of the musical spectrum, Matt Costa delved into the realm of cinema with his film Katabatic Flight. The project, a collaboration with brands Roark, Vero Watches, and Danner Boots, was released on April 28th, and Costa masterfully lent his sonic touch by producing and writing the film’s official score. Speaking about his latest venture, Costa mentioned, “The laws of nature suggest the destination. Learning that when you harness the wind we do not capture it, instead it must become our guide. I’m thrilled to share the Katabatic Flight in documentation on film and in song.”
