NEIL FRANCES & St. Panther Unite For Single “Let’s Break It Down”
Los Angeles-based duo NEIL FRANCES, consisting of Jordan Feller and Marc Gilfry, collaborates with emerging hip-hop artist St. Panther for their second single together, “Let’s Break It Down.”
Diverging from the R&B ambience of their previous single, “Head Straight,” the latest release serves as a vibrant homage to ’90s dance-pop, dedicated to the LGBTQIA community. St. Panther brings their unique flair to the track with catchy hooks and their signature fast flows.
Discussing the concept behind the track, Marc of NEIL FRANCES said, “This song captures that feeling of being able to let go in an accepting environment… It’s about simultaneously breaking down barriers of identity and breaking it down on the dance floor, in a literal sense.” Jordan Feller added his personal connection to the song, “My relationship with my brother and his journey embracing his truest self was a big influence on the lyrics initially.”
St. Panther further echoed the sentiments, mentioning, “There’s something so freeing about…embracing your truest self and feeling free to express your identity exactly as it is.”
