Tove Lo Shares New Single "I like you"

Tove Lo Shares New Single “I like you”

After a series of highly successful headline shows and captivating performances at Hangout Festival and BottleRock Festival, internationally acclaimed artist Tove Lo makes a triumphant return today with her brand-new track, “I like u.” Known for her multi-platinum selling hits and GRAMMY® nominations, Tove Lo continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with her unique sound and candid lyrics.

In “I like u,” Tove Lo takes inspiration from 90s and Y2K dance music, creating a nostalgic and infectious dance track. Collaborating with Timfromthehouse (5 Seconds of Summer, Pussy Riot), the duo worked meticulously for months to craft the perfect arrangement that captures the essence of the song. Tove Lo shares, “Lyrically I’m telling the story of my thoughts the first time I saw the love of my life. They’re not clean, but at least I never said any of them out loud.”

Furthermore, Tove Lo’s commitment to making a positive impact shines through as she pledges to donate a portion of her streaming proceeds from “I like u” to The Trevor Project, a leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ young people. This noble act exemplifies Tove Lo’s dedication to using her platform to support important causes and make a difference in the lives of others.

The EP includes fan favorites like “No One Dies From Love,” “Suburbia,” “Pineapple Slice,” and “Grapefruit,” along with a vulnerable new version of her latest release, “Borderline.”
