Sum 41 Announce Breakup After 27 Years
Canadian pop-punk band Sum 41 has announced that they will be disbanding after 27 years together. The group made the announcement on social media, expressing their gratitude to their fans for their support throughout the years.
“Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives,” the band said in a statement. “We are forever grateful to our fans both old and new, who have supported us in every way.”
Sum 41 has released seven studio albums since forming in 1996, with their hit song “Fat Lip” becoming an instant classic upon its release in 2001.
