Aperture is a 12-track masterpiece co-produced by Jadagu herself and Max Robert Baby at Greasy Studios Paris. The album promises a captivating musical journey, featuring tracks like “Say It Now,” “What You Did,” and “Warning Sign,” which have already been well-received by fans and critics alike.
Notably, The New York Times’ Jon Pareles has commended Jadagu‘s singular sense of melody and her ability to seamlessly traverse genres. Pareles states, “Jadagu has a singular sense of melody. Her phrases hopscotch around, full of angular leaps that also feel easy and conversational.” With her knack for crafting infectious pop choruses and her willingness to experiment with distorted guitars, suave keyboards, and abstract soundscapes, Jadagu is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
To celebrate the release of Aperture, Hannah Jadagu will be performing a hometown show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on May 20th, giving fans a chance to experience her music live. Additionally, she has been confirmed as a performer at Salt Lake City’s Mind The Gap Festival on August 26th, further solidifying her presence on the festival circuit.
Fans can also look forward to an extensive headlining US tour scheduled for the fall of 2023. The 19-date tour will kick off in Philadelphia on September 6th and conclude in Chicago on October 1st.
