AVIV Announces First-Ever US Tour & Shares New Single “Jimmy’s House”

Toronto singer-songwriter AVIV has announced her first-ever U.S. tour, starting in Atlanta, GA, on May 13th, 2023, and closing in San Francisco, CA, on June 8th. In celebration of her upcoming tour dates, AVIV has also shared her new single “Jimmy’s House”.

AVIV, who grew up surrounded by music and learned piano and guitar at a young age, signed with Photo Finish Records in the U.S. and Dine Alone Records in Canada after writing songs in her bedroom during the pandemic. Inspired by artists like Elliott Smith, Lorde, and Radiohead, AVIV released her debut EP, Drowning in the Culture, in 2022 while opening for Imagine Dragons in Canada.

Recently, AVIV collaborated with producer Robbie Lackritz (known for working with Feist, Alvvays, and Peach Pit) on a new project. Together, they recorded a collection of songs with a full band, marking a shift in AVIV‘s music style. The first single from this project, titled “Jimmy’s House,” is now available.

AVIV‘s U.S. tour will commence in May and June, where she will be supporting the music duo Joan on their Superglue tour. The tour dates include stops in Atlanta, Nashville, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, Santa Ana, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Additionally, AVIV will be performing at Riverfest Elora 2023 in Centre Wellington, Canada on August 18th.
