Mosswood Meltdown Adds Twompsax, The 5678’s, Vore, & Teddy Bear Orchestra To 2023 Lineup

Oakland’s Mosswood Park will play host to Mosswood Meltdown, a two-day music festival featuring a legendary lineup of performers. The festival is set to take place on July 1st & 2nd, 2023.

Hosted by the inimitable John Waters, the Mosswood Meltdown will feature a lineup of headliners that include Le Tigre, Bratmobile, Gravy Train!!!!, ESG, Mika Miko, and Snõõper, among others. The festival’s newest additions include Twompsax, The 5678’s, Vore, and Teddy Bear Orchestra.

The Mosswood Meltdown will kick off with a grand opening party at Thee Stork Club on Friday, featuring John Waters and Gravy Train!!!!. The weekend will feature a smorgasbord of bombastic after-parties, with a full list of events available on the festival’s website.

Tickets for the weekend are nearly sold-out, and single-day tickets are expected to go quickly. The festival offers a variety of ticket options, including GA Single Day tickets for $89, GA Weekend Passes for $159, VIP Single Day tickets for $149, and VIP Weekend Passes for $279. Pre-Parties & Afterparties passes are also available for $99, or “ala carte” for individual events.
