Mise En Scene Announce “Reality Bites” EP & Share Lead Track

Mise en Scene, a Canadian alternative rock duo, has recently announced their new EP, Reality Bites, and shared the lead title track. Reality Bites will be released on June 23rd, 2023, via Light Organ Records.

The EP was produced by John Paul Peters (Comeback Kid, Royal Caneo) and features emotional songs that capture life experiences. The record’s songs range from sad to funny, angry to rebellious, but all are written with the same captivating energy that the band is known for.

Mise en Scene is composed of vocalist & guitarist Stefanie Blondal-Johnson and drummer Jodi Dunlop. The duo has been making music together since their debut in 2012 and has garnered attention for their unique sound that blends influences from Blondie to The Black Keys to Best Coast.

Mise en Scene has gained a significant following in recent years, performing at high-profile music festivals like SXSW, Reeperbahn, and The Great Escape. Their music has charted on national radio for over 20 weeks, and they have enjoyed a host of sync placements in feature films and international series.
