The Cure Announce 2023 North American Tour Dates
Legendary British rock band The Cure has recently announced their much-awaited 2023 North American tour. The tour, which is named “Shows of a Lost World,” will see the band performing in several cities across the United States and Canada.
Alongside a string of shows at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl and New York’s Madison Square Garden, The Cure will venture on a 30-date tour with support from their longtime tour mates, The Twilight Sad.
In recent years, lead vocalist Robert Smith has been keeping fans on the edge of their seats, teasing a new album. Smith had promised that the album would be released before the summer of 2019, but it has yet to see the light of day.
The Cure’s last studio album, 4:13 Dream, was released back in 2008. However, in recent years, Smith has kept busy collaborating with other artists like Gorillaz and remixing tracks for Chvrches, Deftones, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
Last year, the band reissued their 1992 album, Wish, much to the delight of their fans. With the upcoming tour, fans can now look forward to experiencing the band’s classic hits as well as some of their newer tracks.
