The 1975 Share “A Theatrical Performance Of An Intimate Moment” Video

British pop-rock band The 1975 has released a new six-minute short film on YouTube titled “A theatrical performance of an intimate moment.” The band’s release of the film comes just hours ahead of their Saturday Night Live performance on the March 11th, 2023, which sees Wednesday star Jenna Ortega host.

The short film features Matty Healy, the lead singer of The 1975, as he interacts with fans on the streets, works out, and discusses what the SNL set should be. The film begins with Healy practicing in the mirror, asking “You want me to take it or you to take it” before heading out into society. As he wanders the streets, he is seen using the same phrases with fans who stop him for photos and autographs. Later in the video, Healy is captured discussing Charles Bukowski with Jack Antonoff (Bleachers).

While no official announcement has been made regarding the nature of the short film, The 1975’s Instagram post refers to it as “Episode 1,” hinting that a series may be on the way. Fans are eagerly anticipating more information about what form the series might take and what it will include.
