Rina Sawayama Shares New John Wick Single, “Eye For An Eye”

Rina Sawayama has released a new song, “Eye for an Eye,” for the latest installment of the John Wick franchise. The song is featured on the soundtrack for John Wick: Chapter 4, which will be released on March 24th, 2023, along with the film’s original score.

Sawayama, who is known for her pop and electronic music, also stars in the film as Akira Shimazu, a sword-wielding fighter. She will be acting alongside Keanu Reeves, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, and others.

The film’s score was written by Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard, with Bates also producing “Eye for an Eye.” Sawayama recently revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she was considered for the role by director Chad Stahelski because of her “Bad Friend” music video.
