Jake Shears Shares New Single Featuring Amber Martin

Jake Shears, the renowned musician and former frontman of the Scissor Sisters, has released a new single titled “Devil Came Down the Dance Floor”. The track, which features the vocals of New York City singer-songwriter Amber Martin, is the second preview of Shears’ upcoming album, Last Man Dancing.

Described as a hedonistic twist on soulful house music, “Devil Came Down the Dance Floor” showcases Shears’ love for club culture and marks a departure from his earlier work. Speaking about the track, Shears praised Martin‘s performance and called the collaboration a joy to create.

“Devil… was a joy to create and I’m so excited to share it,” Jake comments. “Amber Martin is one of my best friends and favorite singers and it’s an honor to have her absolutely killing it on this song.”

Last Man Dancing, which was created between the US, Portugal, and London, features a star-studded guest list that includes Boys Noize, Big Freedia, Kylie Minogue, Jane Fonda, and Iggy Pop.
