
Juice WRLD Final Posthumous Album “In The Works”
The late rapper Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album is on the way, according to Lil Bibby, the head of Grade A Productions and a friend of the artist.
On February 4th, 2023, Lil Bibby shared a video of Juice WRLD in the studio on his Instagram and wrote that he wanted the album to be a celebration of the rapper’s life. Bibby added that the album is being created to commemorate Juice WRLD and not to mourn his loss.
“The Last Juice WRLD Album is in the worksβ¦ We want this album to feel like a Celebration/Party! Letβs celebrate the life of Juice ππ½πποΈ No more mourning, I want everyone that Juice loved while he was here to help celebrate, especially his fans who he loved! You guys have been the best fans an artist can have (Minus the death threats to Bibby) πππ½β€οΈ. Iβm not gonna complain but iβll jus say this is not easy. We miss you, We love you 999 til the world ends π§π”, captioned Lil Bibby.
Juice WRLD passed away in December 2019 after a drug-related seizure at Chicago’s Midway airport. He was 21 years old and had just released his second album, Death Race For Love. Since then, several posthumous albums have been released, including Legends Never Die in 2020 and Fighting Demons in December 2021. The latter album features collaborations with artists such as Polo G, Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber, and BTS‘ Suga and was released to coincide with an HBO documentary called “Into the Abyss.”

In August 2022, during his main stage performance at Reading Festival in the UK, Chicago rapper Polo G paid tribute to Juice WRLD by having his DJ play the song “Armed And Dangerous” in full and rapping along with the crowd. After the performance, Polo G briefly acknowledged the late rapper’s life and said “R.I.P J Dawg, man.”
