Haiden Shares New Single, “flight attendant”
Los Angeles-based indie pop artist Haiden has released his first single of 2023, “flight attendant,” which serves as the closing chapter to the relationship that inspired his debut EP “Good Grief!” The single was co-written by Dan Swank (All Time Low, New Rules) and co-produced by frequent collaborator Barry Fowler.
In a recent interview, Haiden talked about the inspiration behind the song, saying, “Underneath the song’s callus is a deep need to preserve what made my relationship worth being in. This song is the catalyst for my next era, which focuses more on my personal struggles with trust and intimacy, while also maturing in imagery, concept, and tone.”

Haiden made a big impact on the music scene last year with his viral hit “Sorry to Your Next Ex,” which has since reached over 15 million streams globally. His debut EP, Good Grief!, was released in October 2022 and features seven tracks, including two other viral TikTok hits, “Can’t Hurt Me” and “DUMP HIM.” The songs on the EP reflect Haiden’s intimate stories surrounding his inability to protect himself in relationships.
Haiden was raised in Ojai, California, and is a 2022 graduate of the University of Southern California. He has won fans with his witty lyricism, powerful guitar lines, layered harmonies, and candid expression. Despite only deciding to career pivot from aerospace engineering to a musician two years ago, Haiden has already made a big impact on the scene, opening for Alejandro Aranda aka Scarypoolparty on his first 14-date tour across the Southwest.
When talking about his journey, Haiden says, “A few years ago, I was an engineer living in my car and modeling part time to save money for an eventual move to LA. If someone had told me that something as simple as picking up a guitar would wreck those plans so drastically, I would’ve laughed… and probably picked it up anyways.”
Fans of Haiden can expect more new music from the talented artist as he prepares to release his next EP. For more information or to see any upcoming tour dates, visit Haiden’s website here.
