Beyoncé Announces 2023 “Renaissance” North America Tour

Pop icon Beyoncé has excited her “Beyhive” fans with the announcement of her upcoming “Renaissance” World Tour, with North America dates beginning from July 8th, 2023 in Toronto, ON.

The singer took to Instagram to tease the tour, which will kick off on May 10 in Stockholm’s Friends Arena and concludes on September 27 in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Fans can rejoice though as Beyoncé has already included an additional seven North American stadium shows to her highly-anticipated “Renaissance” World Tour.

Despite the extension, the massive demand for tickets continues to exceed supply by more than 800% based on current registration numbers, with the majority of fans still expected to miss out on the opportunity to see the superstar perform live. The seven new shows are a response to the incredible demand, but with such high levels of interest, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

The artist is known for being secretive and has a history of surprising fans with unexpected releases, leading fans to speculate that there may be more surprises in store with her latest album, Renaissance.

The last time Beyoncé toured was in 2018 as a co-headliner on the “On the Run II” tour alongside her husband, Jay-Z. This tour grossed $253.5 million, according to Billboard. In 2016, she toured solo on “The Formation World Tour” in support of her album Lemonade, which sold more than 2.2 million tickets and grossed $256 million.
